Healthcare, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Hospices and Dental Surgeries

Within healthcare there are problems associated with bad smells from a wide range of conditions, including fungating wounds, bowel conditions and incontinence problems. There are also the mixtures of smells such as anaesthetic, blood and plaster that combine to produce that 'medical' smell. These bad smells can cause negative psychological problems for patients, visitors and staff. Eradication of the malodour will provide dignity to the patient, enable them to be less intimidated by their environment, and allow them to benefit from better support from visitors and a more positive outlook of their condition. Within the Nursing and Care Home environment there are problems associated with bad smells from a wide range of health conditions, as well as age related problems, including incontinence. Insomnia and aggressive behaviours are also issues to be addressed.

Using the ST Pro and our huge range of essences will allow you to:

In all situations the removal of malodour allows relatives and visitors to be more supportive.
  • To relax individuals in stressful situations, including pre-surgery, dental surgeries and at blood clinics. Our relaxing essences are also used to assist sleep and have been shown to relax individuals who are exhibiting aggressive behaviour, for example within Elderly Mentally Ill (EMI) units.
  • To revitalise and to enhance the mood of individuals, leading to brighter spirits and often leading to appetite stimulation.
